What printing technology is used?

Our are printed on Eco-solvent printers at 360 - 720 dpi.

Eco-solvent inks have their colors suspended in a mild biodegradable solvent, which means that the ink has virtually no odor as they don’t contain as many volatile organic compounds.

The lack of smell is a real plus for banners which will be displayed or used indoors.

What is the weight of the vinyl used?

Our banners are printed on heavyweight 11 oz. scrim matte vinyl. All banners are hemmed. Grommets are included for to allow easy hanging on all banners except where noted otherwise

Are banners waterproof? Can they be used outdoors?

Though designed for indoor shop display our banners are waterproof & weather proof.

Generally our Banners last two to three years outdoors

Are custom sizes available?

While we stock the most popular sizes banners can be printed in any size up to 10' by 10'

Do you offer custom work?

Absolutely!  Whether it's a modification to an existing design or a personalized design we'll do our best to meet your needs.

About Our License Plate Frames

Here are some answers to questions we've received in the past regarding our Retro License Plate Frames. If we can answer any other questions please contact us and we'll get back to you as quickly as possible

Are the insert letters raised?

The inserts do not use "raised" lettering. Inserts are not engraved . All inserts are printed on 3M automotive vinyl.

How many styles of frames are available?

We currently offer 2 types of frames. Both are of the 2 mounting hole variety. Both styles are double panel allowing for 2 inserts, one long and tall and the other shorter and narrower.

As a rule the shorter /narrow insert is used for the dealership location and the larger is used for the dealership name.

Both "standard" and "narrow" top frames are available dependent on the style used by the original dealership frame.

Are your frames metal or plastic?

All frames are durable chrome-plated zinc alloy. We do not use less expensive  "chromed" plastic frames.

You don't stock the dealership frame I'm looking for. Do you offer custom frames?

Of course!  Our collection of reproduction license plate frames is growing but there is no way we could possibly have every and any frame you could possible imagine. We’re good but not that good!

If you are looking to have a recreation done of a vintage frame we’d love to help. If photos of the vintage frame you’re interested in are available we can create artwork from the original.

Not all dealerships used promotional frames way back when so an original may not be available. In cases like this we will create artwork based on available dealer promotional material or vintage newspaper advertisements. If these items are not available we will base the artwork on other frames of a similar vintage and locale to create a period correct dealership frame .

What exactly happens after ordering A Custom frame?

After an order is received for a custom frame we create an artwork "proof" which is emailed to you for approval. This will be supplied to you within 48 hours.  Upon approval we create the final artwork to be printed on the vinyl insert. Insert orders are sent to the printers once a week. Once the printed inserts are received from the printer the custom frames are assembled and sent out to customers

Typical turnaround time for a custom frame is 2 1/2 to 3 weeks.

Do I receive an invoice for my order?

What shipping service do you use?

For both Domestic and International orders we use USPS for shipping.

Smaller orders will be sent First Class Mail though these orders can be shipped Priority Mail at additional cost in most instances. Larger orders will be shipped Priority Mail.

I just placed my order, how long until it ships?

All in stock items ordered from our website will ship within 48 hours.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept most major credit cards through Paypal, as well as Paypal direct.

I made a mistake in my order, what can I do?

We allow changes to any in stock item order as long as long as the order has not been shipped. It is best to contact us as quickly as possible if a mistake has been made.

Changes to custom orders would be dependent on the type of product and custom work involved. Again, please contact us as quickly as possible.
